Archery Instructors Course

Between: 29th February 2020 - 1st March 2020 Location: Ferny Crofts Scout Activity Centre Sections: Adult Volunteer

A two-day course (16 hours) which provides the necessary training and assessment for candidates to achieve their archery leadership permit for recurve bows. The course will be a mixture of both theory and practical skills.

At the end of the course, you will receive a Scout Activity permit in Archery which will enable you to run sessions for groups within the Scout Association.

This course is not catered, so please bring lunches for the two days, although tea and coffee will be provided throughout. You will be working outdoors from time to time, so please wear appropriate clothing and bring waterproofs.

Camping can be booked separately.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
